The Paradise Bay Resort boasts four seawater swimming pools, the largest of which is shaped like a fish in a nod to the surrounding Mediterranean waters. Guests can relax on one of the many sun terraces surrounding the pools, and with numerous sunbeds and umbrellas available, there's never a rush to nab the best spots. There is a shallow paddling pool for children, both indoor and out, and the hotel also has one of the largest indoor swimming pools in Malta (open from November - April, and heated in winter).

Pool towels are available from the hotel free of charge, but a small deposit will be taken.

As the first hotel private beach in Malta to be awarded the prestigious Blue Flag status, ours is one of the best sandy beaches in Malta. Relaxing on the sunbeds affords beautiful views over to the islands of Gozo and Comino, while the famous Blue Lagoon is only a 10-minute boat ride away.

For those of a more adventurous spirit, our Paradise Diving School and Water Sports are also located at the beach.

Beach towels are available from the hotel free of charge, but a small deposit will be taken.

The beach is normally open from May to October.

Established for over 20 years, the hotel's award-winning Paradise Diving School presents the ideal opportunity to experience scuba diving and snorkelling in Malta. Scuba diving in Malta is some of the best in the world and the main dive sites of Cirkewwa, Gozo, and Comino can be reached in just a few minutes by speedboat from the hotel's private beach. As a PADI Gold Palm Resort, our Paradise Diving School offers dives and PADI courses for every level, from beginner to professional. Groups are split into small numbers according to experience level and led by a fully qualified PADI instructor. Introductory dives are available every day and informal refresher dives are also an option for 'rusty' divers. Languages spoken at the dive centre include English, Maltese, Spanish, French, Italian and German.

Dive boats leave directly from the hotel beach and return to the beach after each dive providing a convenient set up for divers accompanied by their families. The dive centre also operates a shuttle boat service to Comino for non-divers who wish to spend a day in the Blue Lagoon. Boat diving is available from May to October and shore diving between November and April. The STAR Awards are an important initiative through which the Malta Tourism Authority is able to give Special Thanks and Recognition to tourism employees who are passionate about providing quality service to our visitors. The Paradise Diving School's instructors have won the Malta Tourism Award for best instructor almost every year since the competition commenced in 2005.
